There is a 2 inch tear in the top margin of the Title Page, a previous owner's small inscription on a frontpaper and some fraying loss to the lower 1/2 inch of the spine. The only library markings are a small stamped number to the bottom of the Contents page and a small white label on the spine. Bound in the original dark blue cloth with still bright gilt lettering on the spine. The covers and top of the spine have fine, unworn and unbumped edges.
