About this title

Synopsis:

Peter Sellers was undoubtedly one of Britain's most outstanding comic actors, and will be best remembered for Kubrick's Dr Strangelove and of course, Inspector Clouseau in the long-running Pink Panther films. Sellers on Sellers offers a unique perspective on Peter Sellers as his friends, family, and associates (including Kenneth Brannagh, Fiona Fullerton and Denis Norden) pool together their funniest or most pronounced memories of him and create an intimate and original portrait of a man who was less than perfect, but always entertaining. Central to the book is Michael Seller's highly personal reflections on his father and rare family photographs, providing a unique insight that only a direct family member can provide.

About the Author:

Michael Sellers is the son of Peter Sellers' first wife Anne Levy. He was born in Highgate, London in 1954. He now works in property and lives in Northamptonshire. He has inherited his father's obsession with the motor car and is currently restoring a 56 Thunderbird. Gary Morecambe is the son of Eric Morecambe. He was born in Enfield, London in 1956, and now lives in Somerset. He became a full-time writer in 1982 and has since written a number of books from biography to fiction. He has spent several years writing a play on the life of his father, Eric and recently published the best-selling: Eric Morecambe: Life's Not Hollywood, it's Cricklewood (over 30,000 copies sold).
