Publisher in full "George Routledge and Sons, Broadway, Ludgate Hill, Glasgow and New York", thus perhaps printed late 1880s. 'Routledge's Edition' stated on reverse of title page, with list of Austen's other works. 4pp publisher's ads at rear. Pages rather marked: pronounced tanning, foxing; some thumbing; sporadic minor liquid stains. Text legible throughout. Both hinges completely cracked and slack with fully exposed netting. Mild liquid stains at start and end. A few dog-eared corners. Block edges tanned. Boards edge-worn: corners bumped and frayed; spine ends crushed and frayed. Rather scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Notable water stains. Forward lean. Spine very sunned: dull letter.
