About the Author:

Author Ewel Vaughan was raised in the rural town of Gracemont, Oklahoma, where he was born. He served in the artillery at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, and in the infantry in Europe during World War II, earned a bachelor of science degree in petroleum engineering from Oklahoma University, Norman, Oklahoma, a post graduate degree from Phillips University, Enid, Oklahoma, and has served more than fifty years as an ordained Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) minister. In his retirement at Seiling, Oklahoma, he long served as Seiling Hospital's personnel manager and continued part time preaching. He and his wife Mary (pictured on front cover) enjoy their rustic small-community life and their fellowship (as much as possible) with the families of their four children, ten grandchildren and twenty-eight great grands. The author continues the story of the Marrs family, weaving a tale of their fictitious journey with God toward an all too real end time using a lifetime of personal experience, faith, and education to create a thought-provoking piece of work. .Mark Vaughan, BS Environmental Science
