About this Item

Leatherette binding; title on spine barely visible, back is missing. Pages are browned and the last few pages of the alphabetical index ( at back) are missing only goes through a portion of “P” otherwise everying else is accounted for and looks like an old book in fairly tight condition; a short news article was laid in and the shadow of which is on the title page where the actual article remains, “ “Man Carries a Knife Blade Buried in Brain 15 Years”. We have not figured out the relevance of the article as it relates to lessons in business perhaps a deal gone South. Price of book includes the article. Bookseller Inventory # shlib052009

Store Description

Rare Reads formerly operated a storefront in The Lakewood Antiques Gallery in Atlanta, Georgia but reverted to a strictly online operation when the Gallery closed. In 2006, Rare Reads published "The Heeey Baby Days of Beach Music" which received a bronze medal from The Independent Publishers Association. Long sold out, copies of the 13 pound tribute to the musicians who created the unique R&B genre are occasionally available on ABE. The book was a collaborative effort of Rare Reads and many others including the musicians that created the sound Southerns term "Beach Music." Rare Reads is considering future publications in addition to expanding its online enterprise. Rare Reads is operated by Greg Haynes and son Reid Haynes and has warehouses in Atlanta and Athens, Georgia.
