A scarce title, with high quality reproductions of plates illustrating the seven planet system of the fifteenth century. Plates include: The Florentine Engravings Ascribed to Baccio Baldini (VII), Italian Copies of Florentine Plates (VII), The Calendar of 1465, Wooducts in the Berlin Block-Book (VII), The Drawings in the So Called House Book (VII), Hans Sebald Beham's Woodcuts (VII) and The Wooducts Signed with the Monogram of Gabriele Giolito de Ferrari (VII). A very good copy with some slight bowing to boards and foxing to endpapers. Plates are excellent with some very light intermittent foxing. Bookseller Inventory # 2OS51
