Apparent First Edition as no other editions are mentioned. Green cloth library binding with slight wear on the edges. Title and call numbers in gilt on the spine. Library instructions that the book is to be signed out with use, taped on the lower front edge area. The hinges and the spine are very good. The inside pages do have some stickers and a few library marks. The inside pages are bright and otherwise look unmarked. A few pages have some dampstaining on the edges. 406 pages with the appendixs and the index. Also 5 pages of advertising at the end of the book. All 30 additional plates are present. Many are foldouts. Some have some tape marks on the back. Plate XXIX, Underdrainage for S.W. John, Selma, Alabama has dampstaining and some discoloration on the back edge where it has been taped. This is quite the book on building sewers and all that goes with it. Chapters include The Depth of Sewers, The Ventilation of Sewers, Main Outlet nd Main Sewers and others. Includes information on different cities sewer systems including Omaha, San Diego, Stamford, Conn, Amsterdam, NY and others.
