Sextus Aurelius Victor (ca. 320 - ca. 390) was a historian and politician of theRoman Empire and author of a History of Rome from Augustus to Juian (360), published ca. 361 which has been translated, corrected and updated several times by various scholars. The present copy, includes, in part, the translation of a female editor, the renoun French scholar and tranlsator of the classics AnnŠ Tanaquili Fabri filiŠ better known as Madame Anne Le FŔvre Dacier (1654 -17 August 1720).
