Synopsis: Those things that go bump in the night make our flesh crawl. They make the little hairs on the back of our necks stand on end. They make us question our eyesight and our sanity. What they don t do, is make sense. Our logical, rational view of the world tells us ghosts, and spirits, and Shadow People don t exist, but our senses tell a different story. Step into the unknown with those of us who have seen them. Experience the flesh-crawling feeling as they tell their stories of terror. Let your mind question the material world as you step gingerly around the corners of your own home, wondering, anticipating, your own face-to-face contact with faceless Shadow People.

About the Author: Joan R. Neubauer began writing as a child and at the age of nine, saw her first articles published in her local newspaper, The Bristol Courier. With that first success, the writing bug took hold and Joan has been writing ever since. Joan graduated from West Chester University with a B.S. in education and taught Spanish and ESL for a number of years before deciding to tackle freelancing as a career. In 1984 she began writing seriously for publication but had a lot to learn about the industry. In 1987 she began selling her work regularly. Eventually she expanded from freelancing into copywriting, ghostwriting, editing, and into publishing. J Joan and her husband Steve own and operate WordWright.biz, Inc., a publishing house and author incubator in Texas. Over the years, Joan and her family have lived in two haunted houses and has many stories to share with readers. Joan loves to hear from her readers and invites you to visit her website at WordWright.biz and to email her. Joan is the author of A Serpents Tooth, Dear Diary: The Art and Craft of Writing a Creative Diary, From Memories to Manuscript: The Five-Step Method of Writing Your Life Story, S.C.A.T. (with Michael Egbert), Heart of My Heart (with Bill Harris), and Down But Not Out (with Tom Docherty), and The Complete Idiot s Guide to Journaling. Stephen F. Neubauer went from teaching 7th grade English, Reading, and Social Studies to working for IBM where he developed his career as a senior market intelligence professional. After twenty-five years, Steve left IBM and joined Joan to co-found WordWright.biz, Inc., an incubator for new authors, professional speakers, and consultants to create books about their specialty areas. Steve now focuses on helping new writers establish themselves and fulfill their publication dreams. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from West Chester University, Market Intelligence Certification from the University of Georgia, and a Master of Science in the Study of
