Half title, title imprinted with publisher's device, dedication, xxxii (To The Reader, glossary,sub title page "Tales and quicke answeres, very mery, and pleasant to rede", "Table"), 116 pp. , colophon page. Interior is fine while the boards are rounded at the tips and somewhat faded; front board split down the gutter. Tipped in at the front free endpaper is a handwritten slip reading "Only 6 Copies printed on blue paper/ Price L3.8.3/ The above Memorandum is written by Mr. Robert Triphook from whom I received the Book, 2nd Nov. 1814/ (signed) R.L. Mercier". 19th century bookplate of R.l. Williams front pastedown. Samuel Weller Singer, bookseller and editor of antiquarian texts, maintained a close relationship with antiquarian publisher Robert Triphook and with Charles Whittingham, owner of the Chiswick Press (in fact he would give up his own business and go to work for them in 1815 and in 1826 collated and added numerous notes to the 10-volume Chiswick Press edition of Shakespeare's Works.).
