Book Description s.n, 1946. Unknown Binding. Condition: Good. First Edition. Water stains and buckling, front hinge wobbly; general wear. The folding panoramic photograph of the ship & her crew is loosely laid in. Uncommon book which provides first-hand information and photos on atomic testing. Also includes the ship's non-nuclear involvement in WWII. Laid in to the book are two 8" x 10" photographs of atomic explosions (one is the "Tower of Death", and one has a label marking it "DBCB-T1-1-318-EXP#6 Bikini Atoll | AF434-4"). These are toned and have some wear, but are presumably off the original negatives. Not the greatest copy in the world, but a serviceable one with extras. Seller Inventory # mon0000070290
