Book Description Privately Printed, Cody (WY), 1980. Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. Gilt-stamped simulated brown leather; 8vo; 94pp; illustrated with painting reproduction, 1 drawing and 13 b/w photographs. Printed by Rustler Printing and Publishing, Cody, Wyoming. Reminiscences of over 30 years hunting trophy deer and antelope near the Maycock ranch in Gillette, Wyoming. Maycock hunted with both rifle and bow and shot with noted sportsmen Carroll Wert and Fred Bear. Maycock was cited in the Wyoming Game & Fish Commission wild life magazine as " the first one to kill an antelope with the bow and arrow since the Indians traded theirs for a piece of land and a pickup." An uncommon American hunting title, doubtless printed in a small number for friends of the author. A near-fine copy with an inked (possibly a limitation) number in the upper corner of the front pastedown. Seller Inventory # 001071
