Bound in newer, library black buckram, with a gilt lettered spine. Library label on the lower spine. The covers are welll attached, with both the spine and the covers having very good, unworn and unbumped edges. Pages: Imprimatur/Advertisement = (1), (xxxviii), 312 pages. There is one new frontpaper, with one original frontpaper which has one side covered with notes from a minister in the 1800's. There is no frontispiece portrait. There is one newer endpaper with a "date due" slip on it. The library has blindstamped their name to a number of pages. The 38 pages of the Preface and Contents is of a whiter, finer paper. The 312 pages of the main text is of a heavier paper. Some pages have some browning, with one page having a hole in a blank margin. The pages are generally very clean, and are tightly bound. We have also received the same author's book - "The Frauds of the Monks and Priests.". Bookseller Inventory # 13409
