Green cloth with beautiful decorative gilt stamp on front cover; title and author name in gilt on spine. Copyright page bears decorative stamp of the printer: "Press of J. J. Little, Astor Place, New York." Author's signature in ink on back loose endpaper, upside down: "With compliments of the author J.W. Bookwalter, June 2nd 1899." xxxi and 548 pp. Binding with corner wear, lower part of spine wrinkled from moisture. Top page edges cut and gilt. Other page edges rough cut. Very little foxing. Front hinge is pulling apart. Overall condition good. Bookseller Inventory # 00419
