Synopsis: Rubble with a Cause is a humorous journey, in real time, through the adventures and missadventures of a major home remodel. There are lessons among the laughs.
When most people, of a certain age, are simplifying, the Dobrers undertake a complext project involving architects, designers, contractors, subs and the hand-digging of seven 27-foot deep caissons--so that the expanded house does not go roll'n along.
From the Publisher: Rubble with a Cause is not simply a roadmap away from the pitfalls that create money pits. It is also a kind of spiritual journey where laughter replaces anxiety and home owners are reminded of what is of real and lasting importance.
