Signed pay roll list. 158th Company Coast Artillery Corps. May, 1910. 24 pages. 8 1/2 X 14 inches. This pay roll list gives the names of the 105 men who were serving in the 158th Company in May 1910. It also provides their rank, date of enlistment and any recent change in their military status ("Remarks"), plus their payroll amount. The company was commanded by 1st Lieutenant Richard Furnival. Soldiers listed on the payroll are at the rank of sargent or below. Furnival (1878-1935) was a West Point graduate in 1901, attended rank as Major and was with the American Expeditionary Forces in World War I. Copy has been folded. Clean copy.
