About the Author
About the Authors: Daniel R. Tobin, M.D., is a nationally recognized leader in advanced illness health counseling and care coordination. He is the author of Peaceful Dying" and coauthor with Joanne Hilden, M.D., of Shelter from the Storm. He has written numerous articles focused on helping family caregivers and patients cope with serious illness. Dr. Tobin is the Founder and CEO of Care Support of America and serves an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Psychiatry (Health Psychology) at Dartmouth Medical School. Karen Lindsey is the coauthor of Dr. Susan Love's Breast Book, Dr. Susan Love's Menopause Book, Peaceful Dying (for Daniel R. Tobin, M.D., and Shelter from the Storm (for Daniel R. Tobin, M.D., and Joanne Hilden, M.D. She is also author of Divorced, Beheaded, Survived and of two books of poetry. She teaches writing, literature, and women's studies at Emerson College and the University of Massachusetts in Boston.
