This is the biographical story of Ed Watson, the "emperor" who ruled over Ten Thousand Islands, a subtropical mangrove jungle onn the tip of western Florida circa 1910. It was researched and written by husband and wife team, Barbara Heggie and A.W. Matthiessen. This is a stated first edition in fine condition. The pages are clean and free of all marks, tears, and folds. There is some foxing on the front and back inside cover and fly leaves. The turquoise cloth cover is bright and looks new with no signs of wear and has the title stamped in gold on the spine. The corners are sharp. The binding is tight.
