The Herald Press. Japan. Book written to justify Japanese actions in Manchuria and China in the early 1930s. Includes a chapter detailing 713 illegal Chinese actions done against Japan. All the fold out maps are very good. The copy is signed by General Henry J. Reilly, who had been a brigade commander in MacArthurís Rainbow Division in WWI. The book was donated in September 1932 and was part of the Henry J. Reilly Memorial Library. There is no printed date in the book but it is ca 1932. Good copy of the hard cover book. No dust jacket. The book has shelf wear, the spine is sun faded and there is a tape mark left going across the spine near the bottom. 335 pages. Bookseller Inventory # 29198
