About the Author:

Lesley is a secondary school librarian, working and living in Kings Cross, London. She worked as a Saturday library assistant before studying French and Theatre Studies at Warwick University. Her love of reading drew her back into the world of books and after several years working in public libraries she moved into school libraries. She loves her job which allows her to be creative, indulge her inner teenager and best of all encourage young people to read. She draws inspiration for her writing from past experiences and the world she now lives and works in. Lesley studied writing for children at City University with tutor Keren David and is a member of SCBWI and a YA writing group. The sequel Her Other Voice is now also available on Amazon.
