Harper's stereotype edition in its Family Library (nos. XLIII and XLIV). 12mo. 2 vols. I: Frontis., 319 pp., fold. map, plts. II: Fold. frontis., 321 pp. Uncut copies. Publisher's tan cloth printed with publishing information on front cover and ads for various Harper Library series on the back. Ex?social club library: 19th-century bookplate, call number on endpaper, pressure-stamp on title-page, no other markings. Rear free endpaper of volume II with small tear and loss. One inch square of cloth missing from top of each spine. Strip of black tape on spines and on to boards. A very good set in original and early American publisher's full cloth binding.
