About the Author:

Melinda Worth Popham was born in Kansas City, Missouri, and lives in Los Angeles, California, and New Haven, Connecticut. She was the recipient of a NEA grant and was the first winner of the Edward Abbey Eco-Fiction Award. The California State Senate has honored her outstanding literary achievement advocating environmental conservation, preservation and enhancement. Skywater is her second novel.
