About this Item

While the copyright page states that this is the first US edition, there is a blindstamp on the lower back board and the dustwrapper is unpriced ? looks like a book club edition using the same print run as the first edition. Signed by Francis on the title page. Slight fading to the edges of the boards, bottom corners bumped. Dustwrapper has chipping to spine ends and several closed tears, plus a missing corner - 1/2 X 3/4 inch - at the back top flap. Still an attractive copy, SIGNED by the author on the title page.
