From the Inside Flap: Edouard Ekemba Sooh has come a long way since his teenage years of silent solitude and contemplative confusion. He now exposes his feelings and views on all aspects of life through the written word. Since graduating high school in 2000, he has experimented with a couple years of college and is in the process of trying to figure out the nest steps in life. He began writing in April of 2005 through the unique inspiration of Emily Dickinson, English 112, Poetry.com, and a long distance relationship. Since then, he has continued to write with vigor and continuous study of all things simple, such as the intimate relationship between an athlete and his water bottle, to more extreme subjects like racism, religion and politics to which we can all relate. Without this opportunity to express and share his feelings, Sooh honestly believes that his equilibrium would be in constant turmoil. He now views all twenty-six letters in the alphabet as an ever-present gift. Sooh hopes that his words will remind us all to never take writing for granted.
