Fratelli Alinari is one of the world's oldest photographic firms, with the original founder being joined by his brothers to establish 'Fratelli Alinari Fotografi Editori', which focussed on photographing Italian monuments, sculptures, paintings and architecture. Collated complete.This work was put together and written by Arduino Colasanti, an Italian Renaissance scholar and the general director of the Department of Antiquity and Fine Arts in Rome. This collection of photography depicts a range of beautiful and intricate ceilings and vaults, showcasing the beauty in Italian architecture.In the publisher's original cloth. Pages lightly age toned with occasional minor marks. Offsetting to pp. xxii. Very Good.
