This 12th/20th Corps Regiment fought at Antietam, Chancellorsville, Gettysburg then went west and fought in major battles there. They served in the Atlanta Campaign with Sherman’s Army as well as the March through the Carolinas, etc. The copy is embossed ‘The Historical Society of Montanta, Helena Montana’ on the title page.
