Toledano Binding Style No. 1 in blue 'limpcroft leather', gothic Boni & Liveright device in gilt to upper cover, titled in gilt on spine, dark blue top-stain; cotton-candy blue marbleized endpapers. Translated by THOMAS COMMON. Introduction by Mrs. F�RSTER-NIETZSCHE. Excised front panel from rare dust jacket laid in. A crisp copy of a 1917 ML printing of Nietzsche in blue leatherette. Scarce thus. Toledano 9.1. Near fine. Light rubbing to extremities. Small, 1-in. excision from half-title (not affecting text). Binding square & tight, text clean & bright.
