About this Item

8 vo, 502 numbered pages. Not included are about 15 pages of b/w photos from the Berkeley Free Speech Movement. Black cloth, with red and yellow ink. 1971 (1971) Presumed First, First. Previous owner's name neat in ink on front fep. Text is clean, no marks, no notes. Corners sharp, no external wear, either. DUST JACKET not price-clipped ($10.00) has a few tears, all self healing, and none distracting. The progress of the event from beginning to end is well documented and the sociological analysis of the Movement almost takes a back seat to the events themselves. Not surprising, statistics by themselves are boring. This would be a great gift for anyone who participated in the sit-in or any part of it, I say, speaking as one who did.
