an addition to the second edition of Teuchert's work which was edited after his death by Reinhold Olesch and Ludwig Erich Schmitt; this 'Sonderdruck' contains only the Würdigung and a bibliography of the author); in German; INSCRIBED BY SCHMITT ON THE FRONT FREE ENDPAPER; some sunfading of the covers and spine, outer paper layer scraped 8 mm on lower rear foreedge, else clean, unmarked, and little read, rated Near Fine; Teuchert was well known in German linguistic geography throughout the first three-quarters of the twentieth century, with work centered on Low German in the East and traces of Netherlandic brought by settlers in the middle ages; the frontispiece of the book is a half-page b&w photo of Teuchert with his signature (in deutscher Handschrift) below the photo; this fine signed copy would be of interest to Germanisten and collectors focussed on German linguistic geography, the former German East, and specifically Teuchert's work; paper covers are salmon-colored with black lettering on the front; height is 229 milliimeters, xxxvi numbered pages.
