About the Author: Ms. Goodwin is a unique spirit. She is a decisive individual who knows where she is going; for all of her life she has dealt with her inner perception (often referred to as ESP).
Now retired, for years Ms. Goodwin was a secretary and receptionist. She is now a devoted mother and grandmother, insisting on spending considerable quality time with her grandchildren. At times Ms. Goodwin is actively involved in a program designed to help the searching individual. In addition she involves herself in several of the local community organizations.
Ms. Goodwin is author of a few short stories and poems, as well as a cookbook, Martha’s Kitchen. She also is a Reiki II Practitioner and a psychometry reader.
Through Ms. Goodwin’s inner feelings, she gives meaning to her life, and within Spuds she shares her wisdom of feeling and sensitivity through experience.
About the Artist
Ms. Mary Leece was born in Pennsylvania, where she spent the first thirty years of her life. Since then she has lived in Georgia, Texas, and Mississippi. She has had no formal art training but has been drawing since early childhood. She is a member of the Meridian Museum of Art Artists’ Group and has had her work entered in various Meridian Museum of Art shows.
Ms. Leece has also illustrated one of Ms. Goodwin’s earlier books. She currently resides in Meridian, Mississippi, with her husband and son.
