About the Author: Lynn Manuell has published articles for Broadwayworld.com, Playbill.com and has poetry published in Evening Musings and Unicorns and Golden Traces. Ms. Manuell teaches theatre in the Department of Education in the City of New York to special needs students and travels each summer with People to People Student Ambassadors whose emblem is “Peace Through Understanding” – a program created by President Eisenhower. Ms. Manuell, has a degree in photography from Columbia College in Chicago and was born in Grand Rapids Michigan, she was raised in Park Forest Illinois where she worked at the Illinois Theatre Center, in the Press Department of Columbia College and then as now volunteers for social causes. She is also the Assistant Outreach Minister of Unity of New York.
