Purple cancellation stamp. No. B13572, originally issued to Knoblauch Lichtenstein (bank) on April 1, 1881. Transferred to William A. Boyd on April 22, 1881. The Missouri, Kansas and Texas Railway, AKA the K-T or "The Katy" was incorporated in 1870. It originally consisted of the Union Pacific's Southern Branch and 5 other small railways.
