A beautiful "coffee table" book displaying 285 of Stokely Webster's paintings of paris and other cities from around the world. Mr. Webster is one of the most accomplished impressionist painters of the mid and late 20th Century.

About the Author:

Stokely Webster was born in Illinois in 1912. In 1922, he spent a year in France where he saw Monet at work in his Giverny garden. He decided at that time to be a painter. His first studies were that same year with Lawton Parker, and American artist who had studied with Gerome and Whistler.

Mr. Webster, now 88, lives with his wife, Audrey, at their studio on the Connecticut shore.
