Addressed to noted Lincoln and Civil War scholar Arnold Gates (1914-93). Near fine. On "Association of American Railroads" letterhead, Henry thanks this officer of the New York Civil War Round Table: "I appreciate greatly your thought of sending me a copy of the brochure covering the history, progress and membership of the Civil War Round Table of New York, from 1950 to 1955.
