Square and securely bound. A quite solid and attractive copy. ; B&W Plates; Small 8vo 7½" - 8" tall; 409 +ads pages; Charles Egbert Craddock was the pen name of Mary Noailles Murfree of Tennessee. Fort Loudon was an early British fort in Tennessee situated near what is now Maryville among the Cherokee. This book is a novelized version of the events that occurred at the Fort.
