No dust jacket. Dark green cloth mottled and rubbed; boards have surface chips and well worn edges; cloth losses at frayed spine ends; lettering on front board and spine almost indiscernible. Front and rear hinges shaken; a few stress points to text block's binding but still reasonably firm. Edges toned. Obtrusive pencil writing, inscriptions, and calculations on front and rear endpapers as well as on front flyleaf recto and frontispiece recto; top quarter of front free endpaper torn out; some light stains and soiling to interior pages with a few scattered pencil marks. Only a fair copy but an uncommon book endeavoring publicize positive aspects of black advancement.
