Oblong folio (17x11) in maroon cloth badly etched, gilt design and title on front board rather rubbed, front hinge and free front endpaper and frontis detached, 7 full-page or foldout color paintings, 69 full-page b&w drawings, hundreds of photographs, contents clean and tight with no marks, foxing, or even age darkening, illustrations are all sharp with colors bright, needs re-spining o/w quite a good copy of a scarce wartime pictorial.
