Spine head/tail lightly edgeworn but binding overall sharp, with all gilt bright; nonauthorial 1890 gift inscription on inner flyleaf; preliminary leaves a bit age toned and rear endpaper rubbed and scuffed, else tight and nice. Attractive second edition of a text first published by D.L. Guernsey of Boston in 1884.
