She is working Anthropological Survey of India as Assistant Psychologist since March, 2000. She also qualified NET (UGC) in the year 1998. In addition to teaching experience in Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidapeeth University, Varanasi, U.P. She has a number of research publications in journal of repute in Psychology, Education and in social science. Dr. Shrivastava has completed successfully different individual and national research projects undertaken by Anthropological Survey of India so far and is actively engaged in many other projects. She has also research experience on different communities of West Bengal and Sikkim.
