Synopsis: The rose is one of the most beautifully fashioned and delicately perfumed flowers made by God. Remarkable similarities exist between the rose and the beautiful women that God created. Within these pages, both the rose and womanhood are examined in terms of four phases of life: Innocence, Awareness, Maturity and Resolution. The lessons learned can be used to fight the fear of aging and to live a clean and holy life according to the Scriptures. Evangelist Alfreda Lockett Evans was saved and baptized with the Holy Ghost in 1975. She is a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ and a Christian writer. Her children's book, The Little Boy in Blue, was published in 2009. She is a retired Registered Nurse who worked for twelve years as a School Nurse Practitioner and for twenty years as an Advanced Practice Nurse for the spinal cord injured. She lives in the suburbs of Dallas, Texas with her husband, Ebed Evans, Sr. "The contents of this book include very vivid details of the various stages of a person's life. It provides information that is beneficial and informative for people of all ages. This book promotes and stresses God's standard of Holy living". Evangelist Lillie Francis, Retired Teacher "...a life manual for any woman seeking the art to a fulfilled life. Evans has soundly molded the contents of this book to be an informative and encouraging guide to all women, regardless of their current stage of life. It is also a great gift for a blossoming teen that she can keep in her reading collection as a reference for the rest of her life." Jacquinette D. Murphy, CEO of Presence Communications - Dallas, Texas
