About the Author:

Corinne McKay is an American Translators Association-certified French to English translator specializing in legal, financial and marketing translation. After earning a B.A. and an M.A. in French and teaching high school French for eight years, she launched her own freelance translation business and has never looked back! Based on her experiences "in the trenches" of starting a freelance business, Corinne developed and teaches the popular online course, "Getting Started as a Freelance Translator." She wrote "How to Succeed as a Freelance Translator" to help beginning and experienced translators find enjoyment and profitability in the legitimate work from home opportunity that the translation industry offers.

Store Description

We are a privately owned rare and out-of-print bookstore situated in the village of historic Kingston, Rhode Island, in an historic 1897 building that previously housed a general store. The store is located close to the entrance to The University of Rhode Island and is open daily. The store contains approximately 15,000 books, in a large variety of subject categories, as well as a collection of old postcards. The bookstore also has a selection of antique prints from hand-colored flowers and birds to chromolithographs and etchings and engravings. They may be viewed at abgbooks.com. The prints are matted and shrinkwrapped. I am a member of the Massachusetts and Rhode Island Booksellers Association, MARIAB.
