Pp. 39 + 26 fine lithograph plates. Extracts in publisher's printed pink wrappers, 4to. Annales du Muséum d'Histoire Naturelle, volume 10, pp. 293-306, 427-434 + volume 12, pp. 52-60, 111-118. Joseph Pitton de Tournefort was a French botanist, notable as the first to make a clear definition of the concept of genus for plants.
