About the Author: M. Jonathan Hayes is a bankruptcy specialist, certified by the California State Bar Assn Board of Legal Certification. He is a Senior Adjunct Professor of Law at University of West Los Angeles School of Law and has an active bankruptcy practice in Los Angeles. He sits on the Board of Editors of the California Bankruptcy Journal, the Board of Directors of the Central District Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys Assn, and the Bankruptcy Legal Advisory Commission of the State Bar of California.
