About this Item

Blue cloth slightly faded at spine. Pages sewn together tightly but re-stuck to front boards with tape. Pages foxed around spine. Previous owner has inked his name and address to front free endpaper and to back pastedown. Chichester was the first non-stop lone yachtsman at age of 60 or 70. Complete with sun compass inserted into front pocket, and dust jacket (though jacket very chipped and rubbed, with rear foldover separated_).

Large Independent Bookshop of great character, selling new and secondhand books, including children's books, musical scores and books in foreign languages. We have a cafe and are open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. daily, 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Sundays. We close only on Christmas Day and Boxing Day and open at noon on New Year's Day.
