About this title

A champion bodybuilder demonstrates exercises and weight lifting routines designed to improve each section of the body, and offers advice on nutrition and workout performance

From Publishers Weekly:

Everson, reigning star of women's competitive bodybuilding, and her physical therapist/bodybuilding husband (also associate editor of Muscle & Fitness magazine) here show little of the originality exhibited when they won the 1983 USA Couples Championship. They "disclose" the regimen that helped her win three Ms. Olympia titlesmainly a rehash of progressive weight-training routines and techniques, nutritional and dietary jargon and pointers for competition. Like some other recent titles, this one hypes bodybuilding as the best route to the "new sensuality," and much space is devoted to debunking "myths" about women's muscularity. Less space, though, is given to explanations beyond the obvious. But the Eversons's apparent wholesomeness, their insiders' chatter and 200 photos should make this a hit with the general bodybuilding audience.
