About this Item

Interesting, self-published book by a merchant from the reknowned Amir Kahn family, who'se world-wide carpet business and extensive collection have made them famous. Zephir Amir is alsi the author of "A Concise Guide to Oriental Handmade Carpets", and wrote this with the purpose of sharing some of his vast knowledge of this field. In-depth chapters include "The History of Hand-made Carpets", "Carpet Design and Color," Buying a Carpet", "Types of Persian Carpets", :Clarity of Design", and "Supply and Demand of Persian Carpets". The Text and Jacket have no price clips or markings, and the DJ is in pristine condition except for a small mended tear in the lower RH corner which does not reflect the book's condition but appears to have possibly caught on something.
