About this title

Synopsis:

This non-fiction work will open your mind to some of the less publicized aspects of our Solar System. Old territory covered by the formulas of people Like Johannes Kepler and Isaac Newton is not the source of this discussion. The Author provides mathematical formulas on the mechanics of the Solar System that are new to this area of Solar System discussion. The speed of light is for the first time ever offered with a cause and an explanation as to why it is as academics measure it. A means by which academics can double-check the results of their observations mathematically is provided with many examples. The Author demonstrates his opinion as to why miles are the unit of measure for the Solar System and not kilometers. Using miles the real mechanics of the Solar System come to life in this book. The Author provides his solution to the probable basis for the planets revolutions around the sun and a formula for calculating a planet or a moons equatorial surface velocity of rotation in miles per second. The probable minimum circumference of the System is disclosed and the means by which it was determined is fully discussed. An area dealing with the mass of objects expressed in "miles mass" is discussed as opposed to Newton's laws providing the mass of objects in kilograms weight. There is much new ground here.

About the Author:

Jim was born in Philadelphia 76 years ago. A Catholic grammar school graduate and a public school dropout his marriage was the turning point in his life. Before getting married he had a short ride as a merchant seaman and two paid European tours by Uncle Sam; one voluntary and one not. After marriage and children Jim was encouraged to rethink his life and pursued the necessary catch-up to qualify as a law student in California. After four years of night school Jim was sworn in as a Lawyer in 1961 and was employed by a firm until 1964 when he opened his own office. Jim was a successful trial attorney specialized in administrative law until retirement in 1994. Jim has no formal training in Astronomy. He used the astronomers findings. As far back as he can remember his interest was focused on the mysteries of life. He was an avid reader of everything he could find on such subjects. His hobby eventually focused on the Solar System. When family and work permitted he spent his free time on the numbers of the Solar System originally searching for the reason for the rotation of the planets and satellites, and a mathematical means to predict same, he eventually went into the fundamental workings of the Solar System as he saw it. This book is the culmination of most of Jim's ideas and notes created over about 30 Years.
