Illustrated with ten plates and many in-text images. Collated complete. A monthly journal of the physical and practical sciences in all their departments, providing an important explanation to the engineering arts and the sciences associated with them. Written by a committee of practical surveyors, engineers, and architects. Conducted and edited by Robert Mudie, a British newspaper editor, journalist, and author who wrote books on a wide range of subjects including mathematics and astronomy, English history, naturalism, geography and life. Bound in paper covered card. Externally, sound with rubbing and chipping to the extremities. Light bumping to the extremities with loss to the head of the spine. Light sunning to the spine with marks to the boards. A numbered sticker to the front board, with another sticker to the rear board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd spot and minor age toning to the extremities. Ink inscription to the front endpaper and pastedown. With a small closed tear to the front endpaper. Good Only.
