Mr. Betts created a near firestorm 40 plus years ago when he introduced synthetic materials and dry flies without the need for then $60 premium hackle capes. The flies are effective and somewhat easy to dress. And they catch fish. Step-by-step instructions show the easiest methods to make them. What's not to like? Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. My chosen shipping option is the U. S. Postal Service. USPS is the best in terms of service and cost efficiency ¿ even though recent overseas rates, effective January 2013, have skyrocketed. USPS requires mails sent overseas and Canada can ONLY be sent by AIRMAIL. Charged at actual cost. Other overseas shipping options are available, such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.; however, they are frightfully expensive.
