15 volume set plus 2 volume set of Spencer's Autobiography. The set with various dates, likely published c. 1904. The Westminster Edition, each volume numbered 413 of 1,000. Hardcover 8vos., uniformly bound in original green cloth with gilt titles, teg. A few volumes with tissue-covered frontis. Very Good overall. Clean contents throughout. Light bumping to the spine ends and corners. A few inner hinges have been neatly strengthened; sound bindings. Page 13 in the Education volume has been repaired and reinserted with tape. The Autobiography Volumes published 1904, First Editions. The same height and cloth color as the set, but lacking the ornate gilt spines. 17 volumes total, comprising all of Spencer's major works.
